Bicultural Stress Scale

The 20-item Bicultural Stress Scale (Romero & Roberts, 2003) assessed experiences of acculturative stress. The scale includes experiences of conflict stemming from differential acculturation, language difficulties, and family obligation. The response scale ranges from not having experienced the stressor (1) to very stressful (5), and is available in both English and Spanish translations.
